Welcome to the City of Greeley.  The City of Greeley was incorporated as a town in 1870.  In the early days, Greeley was known as "The City of Churches" due to the number of churches in the town.    Greeley is home to the "Greeley Stampede" the world's largest 4th of July Celebration.  During the Stampede, cowboys from across the country battle with the best livestock for the chance to win the Stampede buckle.
