
Mestdagh named MW Co-Player of the Week
Award is fourth for Belgium native

FORT COLLINS, Colo.--Senior Kim Mestdagh, along with San Diego State's Chelsea Hopkins, has been named the Mountain West Women's Basketball Co-Player of the Week.
In the only game of the week for the Rams, Mestdagh scored 21 points to win 61-59 over TCU. The win secured second place in the MW standings and was Colorado State's first win over TCU in thirteen years.
Mestdagh is in fourth place in the all-time record book at CSU for career individual points at 1,606.
In addition to her team-high points, Mestdagh tied a career-high eight assists, had four rebounds and two steals. She shot 47.1 percent from the field (8-17), including 38.5 percent from long distance (5-13).
It is the first weekly award of the season for Mestdagh and the fourth of her career.
