LOVELAND,
Colo. - The Colorado Eagles of the ECHL announced today that goaltender
Robby Nolan has been loaned to the AHL's Houston Aeros. Nolan has
spent time on three ECHL teams this season, playing in two games for the
Eagles -- both last weekend.
Nolan spent last season with the
CHL's Missouri Mavericks where he was voted the league's Most
Outstanding Goaltender, was the winning goalie in the league's All-Star
game & led the league in goals-against average (2.07) & shutouts
(7), while ranking 3rd in wins (26) & save percentage (.928).
Following
the best season of his career last year, Nolan began this season with
the ECHL's Chicago Express before being traded to the Toledo Walleye.
The Eagles acquired him in a trade with the Walleye Feb. 6. So far this
season, he's compiled a record of 9-13-3 (including one shutout), with a
GAA of 3.32 & a .889 save percentage.
The Eagles will host
the Ontario Reign three times this week with games Wednesday, Friday
& Saturday at the Budweiser Events Center. Individual tickets for
all Eagles home games are on sale now, and can be purchased at www.ComcastTix.com, the BEC box office, or by calling 1-877-544-TIXX (8499) or 970-686-SHOT (7468).
