After three weeks of fierce flames, the High Park Fire is fully contatined. Residents are able to go home now. Unfortunately, many returned to metal scraps and just remains of what used to be a home.
As all residents evacuated in the High Park Fire can now return home, they're assessing the damage and trying to figure out what exactly to do next.
Mike Gavin from Poudre Fire Authority said, "Now there are going to be a lot of others that have some damage to them. Doors that maybe need to be replaced. Glass that needs to be replaced. Decks that have been burned."
Below are some resources are available in the community to help with the restoration process.
